ScanMD Now offering station alerting products to fit the budgets of many departments. The new line of "Station Alerting Products" Should be available by the end of May or early June.

Some of the devices that are available include:

Model: SA1

Station Alert 1

Description: This box hooks to an Amplified Minitor Charger, or any other alert receiver with switched relay output. This model allows you to hook up to 10 bells or 10 Strobe lights to one circuit that can be programmed prior to shipping for any length of time 1 second to 62 minutes. (Example: Bells or lights flash for set time 1sec. to 62min.)

Station Alert 2

Description: This box hooks to an Amplified Minitor Charger, or any other alert receiver with switched relay output. This model allows you to hook up to 10 bells, lights, Timers ext. to two different circuits that can be programmed independently of each other prior to shipping for any length of time 1 second to 62 minutes per circuit. (Example: all bells ring for 5 seconds, but all lights flash for 2 minutes)

Model: VPSA1

PA System Pre-Alert Interface

Description: This box is probably what a lot of departments have been looking for but couldn't get their hands on it for less than an arm and a leg. This box can be hooked up to as many as 4 devices including but not limited to, amplified Minitor pager receivers, Alerting radios w/relays, Door Bells, Weather Radios, Ext. Once one of these devices triggers the VPSA1 it will play a pre-determined audio file for that alerting device (i.e. Pager, Radio, Door Bell, Weather Radio ext.) The voice files can be up to 30 seconds long or it can be a favorite audio clip from a movie or a siren noise of your choice, this system is completely customizable to your needs prior to shipping. Note that this device can be hooked into existing pager systems with an optional accessory or can run one 20 watt speaker directly from the VPSA1.

(Example: Pager 1 is set for Fire Calls, Pager 2 set for EMS Calls. When Pager one alerts the VPSA1 Plays the audio file for fire calls i.e. "Fire Units Respond!" or when pager 2 alerts it will play "EMS Units Respond!" Even if both pagers and all four alerting devices are triggered at the same time the VPSA1 will alert with voice or audio files in the order of being triggered. I recommend using audio files of less than 5sec with this device.)
